Licensed and Certified Denver Tree Service Company

Tree Pruning and Tree Removal

DLC Arbor Services is a prescription-based Denver tree service. Our ISA Board Certified Master Arborist visits a Denver property and diagnoses any tree structure or health problems. The DLC arborist’s diagnosis generates a quotation for tree service work. We do not propose any unnecessary tree service programs beyond our arborist’s diagnosis. The tree service work starts upon property owner approval.

DLC Arbor has proudly provided tree services in Denver neighborhoods for over 30 years. We are a Better Business Bureau accredited business and endorsed by Team Dave Logan. For an appointment, please fill out a service request form or give us a call at 303-378-8000.

Denver Urban Forest

There are over 1.4 million trees in Denver, and they all need some TLC. For generations, horticulturists have worked hard to develop trees sturdy enough for life on the Front Range. Because of this, many species of trees not only survive the Colorado climate, they thrive. Regular maintenance is important to keep your trees healthy, safe and in top condition. DLC Arbor is here to help if you have a tree you’re concerned about or if you’re ready for a tree insect inspection.

The City of Denver offers many tree planting and tree health programs. The City Forester is actively monitoring the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). Click here for the last news about Denver’s urban forest.

Prescription Tree Services

Large Tree Custom Pruning

You’ll spot many beautiful silver maple and oak trees throughout neighborhoods in Denver. Residents planted a good number of these trees 50 to 100 years ago, and they have grown to impressive heights. Regular pruning is necessary to keep them healthy and safe and able to withstand Denver’s snow and rain storms.

Polar plunges in the spring and fall can affect trees in the Denver urban forest. Due to the dramatic drop in temperature, as well as the fact that trees had not had the chance to harden yet, many trees were flash frozen. If you see black shriveled twigs or if your tree is not budding in the spring, it may mean the tree has died or needs to be pruned. Call DLC Arbor and we’ll come check out any trees you’re concerned about.

Tree Removal and Stump Grinding

Diseased or dying trees or trees become unhealthy and unsafe. Our experienced crews can safely and efficiently remove problem trees and will also haul away the debris. We’ll remove stumps to below ground level, allowing you the choice of either replacing the tree or installing grass sod.

Emerald Ash Borer (EAB)

The urban forest in Denver is comprised of over 200,000 ash trees. American ash trees do not have immunity to the pest, so the Colorado State Forest Service as well as Denver City Foresters recommend that you treat your mature ash trees for EAB this year. The EAB has already devoured tens of millions of ash trees in the eastern part of the U.S. Don’t let this pesky little bug get yours! Act now to save your ash trees. Call DLC Arbor, a trusted and licensed residential tree care company, for an appointment.
